Our Eternity Awaits donation campaign is targeted on three Children’s Homes in Nassau Bahamas and ministry personnel growth planned for 2026. From a recent mission trip, we were able to identify three homes that we are preparing to set up bible study club nights. The 3 homes have a total population of 78 children and teens, ranging in ages from 5 – 18 years old. The majority at two of the homes were young teens ages 13 to 17.
This age group deserves extra attention since they are in the most vulnerable group class; less likely to be adopted or re-united with their families, very impressionable age group, and a high targeted group from sex traffickers when they age out.
The third home has 19 younger children ages 5-14. Their situation also deserves extra attention in a different light. They are temporarily housed at a correctional and residential facility for girls while their current location is under renovations. While the bible study club nights will be held at the children’s homes at the first two locations, the 3rd one will be held at a local church for a change of scenery and a fun adventure for the children.
We anticipate opening the children’s home clubs in the first quarter of 2026. We believe together, volunteers and donors that God gathers up for the harvest, we can bring hope and the message of Jesus to these 78 children and teens.
